Sample documents

Samples are invented documents with real results from engine 1.0.0, computed ahead of time. The check type applies to your uploads.

Each result shows the verdict, the Risk Score, which checks fired and why, and where on the page they found it.

Four layers, not one model

01

Provenance

Reads Content Credentials (C2PA), EXIF, XMP, and IPTC. A manifest that says an image generator made the file is the strongest single signal there is. Its absence proves nothing, because re-saving strips it.

  • Content Credentials show AI generation. The file carries a C2PA manifest stating it was produced by a generative AI tool.
  • Content Credentials signature is invalid. The file has a C2PA manifest, but its signature or content hashes do not validate, so the file changed after it was signed.
  • Metadata names an AI image tool. IPTC DigitalSourceType or a software tag says the image came from a generative AI tool.
02

File structure

Looks inside the PDF: which programs wrote it, whether it was saved again after creation, fonts that appear only in one number, shapes drawn over text, and whether the visible text matches the text layer.

  • PDF producer mismatch. The PDF says it was created by one system but last written by a consumer PDF editor.
  • Modified after creation. The PDF modification date is well after its creation date.
  • Saved again after creation. The PDF contains later revisions that change content, not just signatures or validation data.
03

Pixels

For photos and scans: regions with a different compression history or noise pattern than the paper around them, and areas copied from one part of the image to another.

  • Compression differs in one region. Error level analysis shows a region that was compressed differently from the rest of the image.
  • Duplicated region. Part of the image appears to be copied from another part of the same image.
  • Noise differs in one region. A region has a different noise pattern than the rest of the image.
04

Content logic

Reads the fields, then checks them in plain code: line items against the subtotal, subtotal plus tax against the total, running balances, payroll tax rates, dates, card brands, and routing numbers.

  • Line items do not add up. The line items do not sum to the printed subtotal.
  • Total does not add up. Subtotal plus tax and tip does not equal the printed total.
  • Running balance does not add up. A bank statement balance does not follow from the previous balance and the transaction.
